Frequently asked questions

Common questions about using HomeschoolHub with the curriculum you already own, planning for more than one child, choosing your own school days, and keeping records for the year.

Frequently asked questions

What is HomeschoolHub?

HomeschoolHub is a homeschool planning and management app. It turns your children, school days, and curriculum into a workable plan, then keeps daily learning, progress, and records connected as the year goes on.

Can I use the curriculum I already own?

Yes. HomeschoolHub is built to work around the curriculum your family already uses. You bring in the structure of a program — its lessons, units, or reading schedule — and planning is built from that. Some curriculum can be added from a template, and anything else can be entered or pasted in during setup.

Does HomeschoolHub replace my curriculum?

No. It does not write lessons for you or swap out the programs you chose. It is the planning and organizational layer around your curriculum, deciding when and how that work fits into your family's week.

What if I am still choosing curriculum?

You can start with what you already know — your children, the days you plan to homeschool, and the subjects you intend to cover — and add each program as you decide on it. Planning updates from there, so you are not blocked waiting until every choice is final.

Can each child have a different schedule?

Yes. Each child can have their own curriculum, their own school days, their own pace, and their own daily load, while you still see the whole household in one plan.

Can I homeschool four days a week?

Yes. You choose the days and rhythm your family actually homeschools, and lessons are only placed on those days. There is no assumption of a five-day, school-at-home week.

What happens if we miss a day?

Missed work stays visible instead of quietly disappearing. You review what did not happen, decide what still needs attention, and move the work you want into the days ahead. Nothing is rescheduled on its own — every change is yours.

Can I change the plan after the week starts?

Yes. You can move work between days, catch up on what was missed, or pull work forward when you have a light day, and you can reverse a change you did not like. HomeschoolHub shows you what each adjustment does before you approve it.

Can HomeschoolHub track progress and records?

Yes. Completed learning builds attendance, learning time, and curriculum progress per child, and the Records area turns that into summaries and printable reports. It organizes your family's records — you remain responsible for what your state requires.

Can students have their own daily work?

Yes. Each child has their own daily plan, and students can see the work assigned to them, open an activity, and submit what they have done. Official completion stays with the parent.

How does the 7-day free trial work?

You start by building your homeschool setup and seeing your generated first week. When you choose to continue, you can start the 7-day free trial. There is no charge today, so you can use HomeschoolHub with your real family before the first paid charge.

What happens after I click "Build My First Week"?

You tell HomeschoolHub about your family, your school days, and your curriculum. It uses that to build a first-week preview for your children, and you see that preview before there is any offer to decide on.
